Jennifer Hunt Joins United Way of Logan County Board of Directors

Jennifer Hunt is the Executive Director/President of The Hunt For Foundation. She attended Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She attended Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. earning her Litigation and Legal Project Management Certifications. She is a Corporate Ligation Paralegal for State Farm and serves as the Pro bono Communications Lead. She also serves as a member on the City of Lincoln’s Diversity and Inclusion Commission. While attending her alma maters she was driven to help those in need, playing a major role in organizing unions in large corporations all while exercising her communication, organization, and negotiating skills with staff and corporate attorneys. As a philanthropist, she recognizes we live in a society that has a history of great disparities in the opportunities available between various ethnic and social groups, and struggles to accept the differences of others. She seeks to bridge the gap of social, economic and political disparities. Throughout her community action, she prides herself on seeking the advancement for all people while meeting the needs of African Americans and sustaining the culture. One of her favorite quotes is from one of the greatest American advocates for social justice, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” Jennifer Hunt has accepted a position on the Board of Directors for The United Way of Logan County.
